Excursions
Whether its visiting elders at the rest home, the library, or simply demonstrating our road safety, education at Alpha doesn't stop at the front gate.
Endless creativity
Our lessons teach fine motor skills, imagination, confidence and scholastic ability. By varying the way we approach each lesson, our tamariki are always engaged in learning.
Exercise
With plenty of space outside to play, we encourage our tamariki to make the most of the good weather, build sandcastles and develop their hand-eye coordination skills.
Education
Young minds are hungry minds. All of our lesson plans are geared towards learning essential numeracy, literacy or other skills critical for developing minds.
Cultural development
With a special focus on English and Te Reo Māori, we welcome people from all cultures to come into our learning space and engage with our tamariki.
Creative arts workshops
When you're little, the whole world is a canvas! We regularly dive into the creative arts, including painting, music, and drama.
